Karishma Kapoor
Karishma Kapoor (Lolo) made her acting debut in 1991, and established herself as a popular actor with several commercially successful films. Raja Hindustani was her biggest commercial success won her the first Filmfare Award for Best Actress. Karisma Kapoor won her second Filmfare Award and National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for Dil to Pagal Hai. She surprised critics and audiences with his performances in films like Fiza and Zubeidaa, where she earned Best Actress at the Filmfare. Since 2003, Karishma Kapoor has been less active in the theater. Karisma Kapoor will be featured in her comeback film Dangerous Ishq (2012).
Karishma Kapoor was engaged to Abhishek Bachchan. The engagement was announced in October 2002 on the 60th birthday of Abhishek’s father, Amitabh Bachchan. Four months later in February 2003, they split up. On 29 september 2003, she married industrialist Sanjay Kapur, CEO of Sixt India. In typical Kapoor tradition, Karisma Kapoor was married at home in an hour-long Sikh ceremony. Karisma Kapoor has a daughter Samaira and a son Kiaan.
