Hot gossip about the gorgeous Drashti Dhami, well known as Madhu of Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, is in the air. She is in a relationship with NRI business tycoon, Neeraj Khemka, now settled in Mumbai. They have been together since three and a half years and have even started their wedding preparations, which is scheduled to kick off sometime this February!
Neeraj, who does not belong to the media industry, was initially staying away from the limelight but with the wedding plans coming close, he has come out in public view. He was recently spotted at the Colors GoldenPetal Awards telecast on Colors TV. He was also seen at the Grand Finale episode of the popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa (JDJ) Season 6, in which he was sitting beside Drashti’s bro Jaisheel Dhami (Farhaan of Qubool Hai).
Neeraj had been by his beloved’s side to celebrate her success (in winning the show).Drashti and Neeraj partied hard till wee hours in the morning after Drashti won the Jhalak crown! The party was held at Picus Bar, 8th floor, Bluewave building, near Fun Republic, right opposite her hometown Bora Bora, off link road, Andheri (West).
However, of late, Neeraj’s family members seem to be not too pleased with Drashti and her choreographer Salman Yousuff Khan’s onscreen chemistry in JDJ 6. Her suggestive dance numbers and itsy – bitsy costumes in the dance reality show (JDJ) have not gone down well with his parents as they hail from a very conservative Marwari family. They did not much like her skin show on National television. They seem to like only her Madhubala Avataar!
But Neeraj is confident enough about his relationship with sweetheart Drashti and does not seem to feel insecure about the sizzling onscreen chemistry between Drashti and her co – actors (be it her choreographer Salman Yousuff Khan in Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 6 / winner of Zee TV’s Dance India Dance, heartthrob Vivian D’Sena in Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon or handsome hunk Gurmeet Chaudhary in Geet Huyi Sabse Paraayi).
Yes, Drashti seems to have found her Mr. Right in Neeraj! The two are very much in love and are planning to take the plunge (tie the knot) in 2014. Neeraj and Drashti have been photographed together many a times. Starting from birthday celebrations to private parties, the cute couple have been clicked together!
However, Drashti has a different story to tell. It’s not that she denies the fact thatshe had been dating Neeraj, but currently she claims to be single. If there is something she would like to share with her fans, she will definitely go ahead! People would come to know what is going on in Drashti’s life.
Drashti and Neeraj were going on steady in their relationship but the couple have decided to call it quits because of trust issues. Drashti recently shunned all talks about Neeraj. There has been buzz that Drashti’s choreographer Salman is apparently the reason behind her breakup with longtime boyfriend Neeraj. Looked like Neeraj was not too comfortable with the onscreen chemistry she shared with her choreographer.
But it seems that the real reason of their breakup might be something else and Salman has nothing to do with it! Things went wrong between the two and they decided to call off their relationship. Whatever the reason is, Drashti and Neeraj have parted ways!
