One of the most well – known faces of the Indian television industry, Jennifer Winget, now Jennifer Singh Grover was born on 30th May, 1985 and brought up in Goregaon (Mumbai), Maharashtra. She did her schooling from the well renowned Xavier’s High School, Bhandup, West Mumbai. After completing her schooling, she pursued her graduation in B.com from KJ Soumya College, Mumbai. Jennifer has got an elder brother. Her family originally hails from the small town of Yavatmal in Maharashtra. She is basically a combo of Punjabi Christian as her father is a Marathi Christian whereas her mother is a Punjabi. Jennifer’s nickname is Jenny and she is known by her nickname by loved ones. She stands tall at 5 feet 6 inches.

Jennifer started off her career with modeling as well as anchoring, at the delicate age of twelve years. She acted as a child artiste on many shows.
She made her debut in the small screen industry with the kid’s special show Shaka Laka Boom Boom season 1, aired on Star One. Here she played the role of a school teacher, named Piya with actor Romit Raaj, who was last seen hosting the reality show Perfect Bride.
She also hosted many reality shows on TV including the well known comedy show Laughter Ke Phatke in the channel Star One and dance reality show Zaraa Nachke Dikha, season 3 along with anchor RJ Mantra, also telecast on Star One.

The stunning actress gained popularity as well as recognition with Ekta Kapoor’s daily soap Kasautii Zindagi Kay (KZK), aired on Star Plus, in which she played the role of Sneha Bajaj, daughter to the leads Prerna (played by actress ShwetaTiwary) and Anurag Basu, later adopted by Mr. Bajaj. She was paired opposite heartthrob (now hubby) Karan Singh Grover. They shared a sizzling onscreen chemistry. She is still remembered for her role in KZK.
She was next seen in popular youth show Dill Mill Gayye, popularly known as DMG, aired on the channel Star One. She portrayed the role of Dr. Ridhhima, an intern, in this daily soap. In fact, she played the third Ridhhima in the show (first played by actress Shilpa Anand and second by Sukriti Kandpal). Here, she was again seen romancing cool dude Karan Singh Grover (KSG), who played the role of Dr. Armaan, in this serial. Dr.Ridhhima aka Jennifer Winget and co- star Karan Singh Grover were seeing each other for quite a long period, since they worked together on the sets of KZK. They dated each other for almost seven years. The reel life couple ultimately got converted to real life couple on 9th April, in the year 2012. It’s been a year since the love birds tied the holy knot and have been leading a happy married life. The duo is popularly known as Kajen (Karan- Jennifer) by crazy fan followers.
Some sources reveal that KSG was already married to well known silver screen actress, Shradhha Nigam when the duo (Kajen) started dating. In fact, he got divorced from Shraddha on December 2009, after 10 months of marriage, as he got attracted to Jennifer and wanted to get married to his long time girlfriend.

Jennifer also participated on many reality shows like popular dance reality show Zaraa Nachke Dikhaa season 1, hosted by KSG and Shweta, where she had been one of the participants of the Meethi Churi Ladkiyan team. She hosted season 2 of Zaraa Nachke Dikhaa along with hubby Karan.

The beauty made a great comeback with bollywood industry’s acclaimed director – turned – producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s(SLB) debut serial Saraswatichandra, aired on Star Plus. She bagged the lead role in this daily drama. Jennifer considers herself to be lucky enough to get cast on this show. She is paired opposite co – star Gautam Rode, who was last seen hosting the dance reality show Nach Baliye season 5 along with actor Karan Wahi.
Jennifer is seen essaying the character of a rich, beautiful and well educated Gujarati girl, named Kumud Sundari. She belongs to a very conservative family background but is taught how to respect her elders. She plays the role of a simple village girl who is proud of her culture, fun loving and optimistic at the same time. Her character, Kumud is seen to be dressed up in traditional lehenga – chunri. She is portraying herself brilliantly as Kumud and is well loved by audience as well. She feels as if the role is perfectly made for her. She carries herself beautifully and her performance is up to the mark.
She shares an excellent onscreen chemistry with co-star Gautam who plays the role of Saraswatichandra, popularly known as Saras, despite being married to Karan as she is extremely professional at work. The talented actress loves eating junk food like paanipuri, chocolates, and makki rotis. Her personal favourite is Japanese cuisine. Among her favourite drinks, Lemon iced tea and wine top the list. In the kitchen, she only knows to make rotis!
But of course she loves the ideal Ghar Ka Khaana (homemade food) cooked by her mom. She carries a dabba from home on the sets as she hates eating meals served on the sets. Also, she makes sure to have lots of water and fresh vegetable juices before she leaves for her shoots and that is the secret to her beauty as well as staying fit.
She shares some of her beauty tips and fitness regimen with the public which includes wearing a beautiful smile on your face and working out for at least three days a week. She does not believe in dieting and starving for food to look slim. Her Fashion Ka Funda is to wear what suits you and in which you are comfortable!
Jennifer is crazy about Salman Khan and watched almost all his movies. In her leisure hours, she loves to sleep, stay at home, read books or watch TV.
