It was much later when Kareena had joined the Bollywood Film industry and Karishma had got married and moved off from the parental home that both Babita and Kareena moved to Khar, in Mumbai. Both of them purchased two flats in the same building complex called Oberoi Crest, which is an upmarket area. Reportedly, Kareena had actor Akshay Kumar’s interior decorator wife Twinkle Khanna do up her apartment and give it a contemporary, yet earthy look. The colours chosen were earthy in tone and the furniture stylish and wooden.

When Kareena got into a romantic relationship with actor Saif Ali Khan and things became serious between them, she moved in with him into his Bandra home.
Their shared plush apartment has a luxurious interior, befitting a scion and now Nawab of Pataudi. The flat is decorated elegantly with wooden panelling and exquisite light shades.
The apartment is in the building called Fortune Heights and is on the tenth floor. Saif has his office in the same building. An interesting tidbit is that according to some reports, the estate prices of properties in front of this building and around it were hiked on reports of Kareena shifting in!

Kareena’s current house address is Fortune Heights, 29th Road, Bandra West, Mumbai – 400050
Though Kareena loves the vibe of this place, she fears for their privacy in their penthouse and the couple hope to move into a bungalow or another apartment, eventually.
Kareena got married to Saif Ali Khan from their Bandra home. The marriage was registered with only a few friends and close family members present at the civil ceremony. The rest of the film fraternity and Kareena’s mother-in-law, Sharmila’s political and other friends were given a reception in a Mumbai hotel and Delhi residence respectively.

It was cricketer and then Nawab, Ifthikar Ali Khan, who changed the Gothic look of the Palace into a white neo-Palladian splendour when he wanted to marry the Princess of Bhopal. The Palace is set in around ten acres of land. The Palace was designed by Austrian architect Karl Molt Von Heinz.
