The six feet tall bollywood actor made his debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut in the year 2007. After appearing in Bachna Ae Haseeno, which didn’t do too well at the Box Office, Ranbir Kapoor rose to fame with his first successful movie Wake Up Sid which was a blockbuster. Ranbir Kapoor – Early Life
Ranbir Kapoor was born to Bollywood actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh and he is the grandson of the famous actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor and the great grandson of actor Prithvi Raj Kapoor. Ranbir Kapoor studied at Bombay Scottish School in Mahim, Mumbai. He later went on to pursue method acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. He is also a former student of Hr college of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai and Le Strasberg Institute.

Ranbir Kapoor’s next release was the film Rocket Singh : Salesman of the Year which even upon receiving several positive reviews failed to do well at the Box Office. Ranbir who was on a roll with delivering so many good movies did not disappoint as he delivered yet another successful movie Rajneeti once again, which was a political thriller in the year 2010. In the same year, Ranbir Kapoor appeared alongside Priyanka Chopra in Siddharth Anand’s Anjaana Anjaani which was a moderate Box Office success.
As per his biography, the year 2011 saw Ranbir Kapoor beat all his records with another blockbuster movie Rockstar which got him the Filmfare Best Actor Award.
