The bubbly actress has been going through various linkups in the media industry. She had once been linked to her Dill Mill Gayye co – star, Karan Singh Grover. Hot gossips went on air for quite a few months about the duo dating or seeing each other. But the rumors automatically died out when Karan Singh Grover married Jennifer Winget.

Sukirti Kandpal, one of the prettiest faces of the Indian television industry was born on November 20 in the year 1987. She hails from Nainital, Uttarakhand. Sukirti is daughter to Mr. and Mrs. B.D. Kandpal. She has got a younger brother named Manjul Kandpal and an elder sister named Bhavna Kandpal.
Her father is a public prosecutor. She did her education from a boarding school in her birth place itself, that is, Nainital. Initially she wanted to choose law as her career option as she was born to a public prosecutor. She also worked as a telecaller in an international BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) before stepping into the TV industry.
How Sukirti Kandpal started her Career /Debut Show:
The 26 year old girl started off her career with modeling prior to entering the small screen industry. She did quite a few modeling assignments which led her to participate in a beauty contest where she won the title of Bollywood Diva and was also one of the top ten finalists. Sukirti also represented India in Miss India World Wide, 2011 pageant which was held in Dubai.
It was then that she got spotted by the chief coordinator of the channel Sab TV and got an opportunity to exercise her acting skills in her debut show Jersey no. 10. Here, she played the role of Saakshi, a chirpy, joyful and friendly girl who plays the love interest of one of the step brothers, Nakul. The cricket based youth show, Jersey no. 10 ran from the year 2007 – 08 mid.
Sukirti Kandpal List of Serials:
The scorpion did a cameo role in the well known horror series Sssshhh…Phir Koi Hai, the sequel to Sssshhh…Koi Hai, aired on the channel Star One. She played the role of a ghost in the serial.
She replaced Shilpa Anand in the youth based popular show, Dill Mill Gayye, where she played the role of Dr. Ridhhima Gupta, a medical intern in Sanjeevani hospital. Though she was a part of the show for a very short time span, as she rapidly got switched over by Saraswatichandra actress, Jennifer Winget, but she is still most recognized for her role as Dr. Ridhhima. The TV series aired on Star One and ran successfully from 2007 – 10.
Sukirti also donned the role of an antagonist named Sidhheswari Singh in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, aired on Zee TV. In this daily TV drama, she portrayed the character of a woman who is extremely fond of wealth and jewelry and is least bothered about her husband. She plays Shekhar’s first wife and is also known as Chutki Dulhan. Later, she commits suicide in the fire that killed her family.
Next, she was seen in the Indian version of the vampire diaries, Pyaar Ki Yeh Ek Kahaanii on Star One. Here, she bagged the lead role of an orphaned girl named Piya (Jaiswal) Dobriyal. She plays a simple, college going girl who falls in love with a supernatural character, named Abhay Raichand (played by heartthrob Vivian D’sena), who portrays the character of a human vampire. The TV series was highly appreciated by the audience and ran successfully from 2010 – 11
She also appeared in the daily soap Rab Se Sona Ishq aired on Zee TV, in which she played the role of an NRI, named Jasveer, popularly known as Jazz. She is born and brought up solely by her father in London and therefore gets everything which she demands. She comes to meet a guy named Ranveer, who hails from India. Her father appoints him to be Jazz’s bodyguard. In the meantime, she happens to fall in love with him and also proposes to him. He accepts her proposal as he was only after her money. She knew the fact but it didn’t bother her. And then the story revolves around Jazz, Ranveer, his lady love, Saahiba and another guy named Daljeet.
Sukirti made a guest appearance in Hum Ne Li Hai – Shapath, as well, telecast on the channel Life OK.
Sukirti Kandpal Current Serial:
The 5 feet, 3 inch actress bagged the lead role in Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai…Ajab Sa Risk Hai, aired on Life OK. In this serial too she plays the role of an NRI, named Simran who arrives from Singapore to attend a friend’s wedding in India. In India, she happens to meet a haryaanvi guy named Rajveer (played by actor Gaurav Bajaj) and like all other love stories, they confront each other with hatred. When Simran is about to return to Singapore, she again meets Rajveer at the airport and to her surprise, both of them board the same flight to Singapore.
In fact, they sit next to each other inside the aircraft. They coincidentally work in the same office and then circumstances lead them to fall in love. The story is loosely based on the bollywood blockbuster, Dilwaale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge. The Indian soap opera went on air on 22nd April, 2013 and has still been running successfully. The onscreen chemistry between Simran and Rajveer is highly loved by the viewers of the show.
